The Offspring
The Offspring are a popular American punk rock band consisting of vocalist and guitarist Dexter Holland, Kevin 'Noodles' Wasserman (also on guitar), bassist Greg K. and Ron Welty on drums (pre 2003) replaced by Atom Willard on drums (post 2003).
 
Oasis
Oasis is the name of a Britpop group from Manchester, England. They were one of the most successful British bands of the 1990s; the band formed in 1991 and members - especially the Gallagher brothers Noel and Liam - are known for their "laddish" behavior of drinking, cocaine abuse, swearing and tendencies to be aggressive, outspoken and yobbish towards the media.
 
NSYNC
*NSYNC is a five-part pop music vocal group, specifically a boy band, formed in Orlando, Florida. The group members are James Lance Bass, Joshua Scott Chasez (JC), Joseph Anthony Fatone Junior (Joey), Christopher Alan Kirkpatrick (Chris), and Justin Randall Timberlake.
 
The Notorious B.I.G.
Christopher Wallace (May 21, 1972 - March 9, 1997), also known as Biggie Smalls but best known as The Notorious B.I.G., was a popular Brooklyn-born rapper of the mid 1990s. In his lyrics, Biggie also referred to himself under the alias Frank White.
 
No Doubt
No Doubt is an American alternative rock group whose music was initially influenced heavily by ska and New Wave. The group was first formed by Eric Stefani in Orange County, California in the city of Anaheim in December 1986 with John Spence as lead singer. Spence committed suicide in 1987, leaving Eric's younger sister Gwen Stefani as lead vocalist. The band developed a live following, mainly in the band's home state of California. In 1994, Eric left because he didn't like the direction the band was headed and pursued an animating career on the cartoon TV series The Simpsons.
 
Nirvana
Nirvana was a band founded in 1987 in Aberdeen, Washington. Their music was an offshoot of punk and alternative rock and was labeled grunge rock by the mainstream press and media of the time. The group disbanded in 1994 upon the death of its leader, Kurt Cobain. Many critics and historians hail Nirvana as the "flagship band" of "Generation X."

Morrissey
Steven Patrick Morrissey, (born May 22, 1959 in Manchester in England) dropped his forenames to become Morrissey, the lead singer of the seminal UK 'indie' band, The Smiths. When the band broke up in 1987, Morrissey developed a successful solo career.

Alanis Nadine Morissette (born June 1, 1974) is a successful Canadian singer-songwriter; she is also occasionally an actress. Alanis Morissette's 1995 international debut Jagged Little Pill became one of the most successful albums of all time.
 
Moby
Moby is an American electronic musician. Moby's real name is Richard Melville Hall (born September 11, 1965 in Harlem, New York City) - he takes his performing name from his relative Herman Melville, author of Moby Dick.
