Reel Big Fish
Reel Big Fish is a southern California ska-punk band who broke into the mainstream in the mid to late 1990s after the success of No Doubt and Sublime. Reel Big Fish is now more well known, but not quite mainstream in the USA and Europe. Although thought by many to be an actual "ska" band, Reel Big Fish is more of a pop-punk group that utilizes ska elements, playing off of the genre from when it was popular in the mid 90s.

Red Hot Chili Peppers
Red Hot Chili Peppers is a Californian rock band which combined aspects of funk and hip-hop with rock and roll. The band started in 1983. One critic has summarized their lyrics as "sex, good times, rock and roll and more sex" with some truth, though some of their biggest hits have been considerably more introspective. Perhaps the most distinctive feature of their sound is the bass guitar playing of Flea, whose flashy, slap-heavy playing not only provides a groove but is also the source of many musical flourishes. They are also well known for playing bare chested, in fact Flea often goes one step further and performs naked on stage.

Queen are widely recognised as pioneers of heavy metal, glam rock, and stadium rock.

Pulp
The pop group Pulp were formed in Sheffield, England, in 1978 by then 15-year-old school-boy Jarvis Cocker (vocals, guitar). They were originally known as "Arabacus Pulp", but this was soon shortened. They are most famous in the UK, where their blend of disco-influenced pop-rock coupled with the amusing down-to-Earth kitchen-sink lyrics of lanky, rubber-limbed front-man Cocker, saw them become popular during the mid 1990s.
