Jennifer Lynn López (aka J. Lo, born July 24, 1970) is a well-known Puerto Rican-American actress, singer, designer, dancer, and fashion icon. She was born and raised in the Soundview section of Bronx, New York City, New York. Lopez speaks English and Spanish. She is also currently married to singer Marc Anthony.
 
LL Cool J
James Todd Smith (born January 14, 1968) is an American hip hop artist better known by his stage name, LL Cool J (an abbreviation of "Ladies Love Cool James"). He is best known for romantic ballads like "I Need Love" as well as hardcore rap like "I Can't Live Without My Radio". He has also appeared in several films.
 
Little Richard
Little Richard (born Richard Wayne Penniman, December 5, 1932 in Macon, Georgia) is a pioneer of rock and roll though he says (quoted in Hamm 1979, p.391) he "came from a family where my people didn't like rhythm and blues. Bing Crosby - "Pennies from Heaven" - Ella Fitzgerald, was all I heard." His early recording career in the 1950s was a mix of blues music and rhythm and blues, heavily steeped in gospel music, but with a driving beat and breathlessly delivered lyrics that marked a decidedly new kind of music.
 
Linkin Park
Linkin Park is a six-piece California nu metal band in the vein of Korn and Limp Bizkit. The band saw its beginnings in emcee/vocalist Mike Shinoda's small bedroom studio, where he and Brad Delson recorded the band's first material in 1996. The two had attended high school together, where they met the band's drummer, Rob Bourdon. Shinoda hooked up with DJ Joseph Hahn while studying illustration at Art Center College in Pasadena. Meanwhile, attending UCLA, Delson shared an apartment with bassist Phoenix, who left the band after college and returned a year later.
 
Limp Bizkit
Limp Bizkit is an American nu metal band. With Korn, they are often credited with the popularization of the genre. Limp Bizkit consists of singer Fred Durst, bassist Sam Rivers, drummer John Otto, and turntablist/sampler player DJ Lethal. (Otto and Rivers are cousins) Guitarist Wes Borland, who was with them for their first three albums, and did the cover art for the last two, left in 2001. Borland was replaced by Mike Smith (formerly of the band Snot); however, as of August 2004, Wes Borland has returned to Limp Bizkit and Mike Smith has left for unknown reasons.
 
John Lennon
John Winston Ono Lennon, (October 9, 1940–December 8, 1980), is best known as a singer, songwriter, and guitarist for The Beatles. His creative career also included the roles of solo musician, political activist, artist and author. As half of the legendary Lennon-McCartney songwriting group, he heavily influenced the development of rock music, leading it towards more serious and political messages. He is recognized as one of the musical icons of the century, and his songs (such as "Imagine" and "Strawberry Fields Forever") are frequently ranked as the best songs of the 20th century.
 
Led Zeppelin
Led Zeppelin was a British band noted for their innovative, influential approach to heavy blues-rock and as one of the most popular and influential bands of all time. They both helped define and transcended the then-emerging heavy metal sub-genre.
 
Avril Lavigne
Avril Ramona Lavigne (born September 27, 1984) is a Canadian singer and songwriter. She was one of the most popular new pop punk artists of 2002, when she released her first album, and is well-known for her "skater punk" persona.
 
Korn
Korn (usually written as "KoЯn") is a heavy metal band from Bakersfield, California, United States. They originally formed as LAPD, which consisted of all the members apart from singer Jonathan Davis. When he joined the band in 1993, they changed their name to Korn, releasing their debut album Korn in October 1994.
